Cookie policy.

Clear information about how this website works.

Last updated: 3 November 2026

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. Rules can apply to storing or accessing information on your device even where the information does not identify you.

What this website uses

The current Dash Claims website code does not set cookies or use local storage or session storage. We do not include Google Analytics, advertising pixels, remarketing tags or third-party media embeds in this version. Videos and images are served with the website.

Earlier versions used session storage entries beginning dash-blog-popup-seen: and dash-instructor-popup-seen-v3 to remember promotional pop-ups. The current code no longer reads or writes these entries. Older entries may remain until the browser clears the session; you can also clear site data in your browser. Pop-up dismissal now applies only to the current page and may reset when you navigate or reload.

Hosting, browser caching and security

Your browser may cache website files and use its normal media-player features. Hosting and delivery services may process technical request information and may use essential security or delivery mechanisms. This description concerns the website code; provider-level behaviour can vary with the hosting environment.

Security cookie observed on the live website

A check of dashclaims.co.uk on 3 November 2026 observed the __cf_bm cookie supplied by Cloudflare. It supports bot detection and helps protect delivery of the website. Cloudflare states that it expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity and is generated separately for each site.

This is a security mechanism rather than an advertising or analytics tag added by Dash Claims. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation. Provider-level cookies can change when hosting or security settings change; this policy should be reviewed following those changes.

External services

WhatsApp, Google Maps, Google reviews and other external services are links, not embedded tracking tools. Following a link opens a separate service whose privacy and cookie terms apply. The enquiry form includes the information you enter in the WhatsApp or email link you choose to open. Review the message before sending it.

Your choices

There are no optional tracking categories to enable in the current website code, so it does not present an accept/reject tracking banner. You can manage cached files and older site data in your browser. Blocking essential browser features may affect video playback or enquiry links.

If we introduce optional tracking or advertising technologies, we will update this information and implement the required choices before activating them. Any applicable exception will be assessed against its specific conditions.
